El l\u00edder de la jornada de semifinales fue el norteamericano Jake Foster, con: 2.08.78, en el mundo acu\u00e1tico es reconocido por su m\u00e1s grandilocuente triunfo, las cuatro medallas de oro obtenidas en los pasados Juegos Panamericanos, esto en las pruebas, de: 100 y 200 m pecho, as\u00ed como en los relevos 4&#215;100 m combinado y el relevo 4&#215;100 m combinado
