Se impuso, en una final que dur\u00f3 m\u00e1s de tres horas y media, al jalisciense Eduardo Orozco<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\nPOR MAURO FLORES LEDESMA<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nDOLORES HIDALGO, Guanajuato, 22 de septiembre de 2025<\/strong>.- En un duro encuentro que se prolong\u00f3 por m\u00e1s de 3 horas y media, el peruano Mauricio Echazu logr\u00f3 el bicampeonato en el Gran Torneo Fiestas Patrias Dolores Hidalgo, Guanajuato AMTP 2025, que se disput\u00f3 del 18 al 21 de septiembre en el Club CERTENN, de esta ciudad, certamen que reparti\u00f3 una bolsa de 70,000 pesos, luego que se impuso por 6-4, 6-7 (0), 6-3 al jalisciense Eduardo Orozco.<\/p>\n\n\n\nEl Copa Davis peruano cerr\u00f3 con broche de oro su participaci\u00f3n en el torneo, en un intenso partido donde la condici\u00f3n f\u00edsica fue el factor que marc\u00f3 la diferencia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Desde el primer set se vislumbr\u00f3 que el partido ser\u00eda plet\u00f3rico de buenas jugadas y sumamente cerrado. El rompimiento que consigui\u00f3 Echazu en el d\u00e9cimo juego le concedi\u00f3 salir con la ventaja en el primer set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Orozco regres\u00f3 con mayor \u00edmpetu en el segundo set y logr\u00f3 quebrar el servicio de Echazu en el primer juego, sin embargo, la garra del peruano nuevamente lo sac\u00f3 a flote y quebr\u00f3 para igualar un set que se fue parejo hasta el final y que tuvo que definirse en la muerte s\u00fabita, donde Eduardo Orozco fue contundente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
En el segundo set, Eduardo Orozco tuvo que recibir asistencia en dos ocasiones, debido a que el esfuerzo y las fuertes temperaturas, causaron un serio desgaste en ambos jugadores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
En el tercer set, el peruano someti\u00f3 a un duro castigo al mexicano, quien, no obstante que puso todo su empe\u00f1o, nada pudo hacer para quitarle la iniciativa al sudamericano y buscar emparejar las acciones. Al final, Mauricio Echazu sali\u00f3 con el triunfo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
El peruano concluye invicto en tres torneos, ya que se lleva sendas coronas en el SMA Open de San Miguel de Allende, una semana despu\u00e9s se coron\u00f3 en Aguascalientes y finalmente se lleva el t\u00edtulo en Dolores Hidalgo. Dos de esos t\u00edtulos venciendo en grandes encuentros al jalisciense Eduardo Orozco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Echazu se marcha con marca perfecta en estos tres torneos, antes de viajar con la selecci\u00f3n peruana al Panamericano de Padel en Uruguay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
La jornada termin\u00f3 con una breve ceremonia de premiaci\u00f3n donde se entregaron trofeos y participaci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica a los finalistas y campeones de la categor\u00eda A y B, adem\u00e1s de la profesional que es avalada por la Asociaci\u00f3n Mexicana de Tenistas Profesionales (AMTP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Los hermanos Mois\u00e9s y No\u00e9 Sandoval nuevamente dieron muestra del empe\u00f1o que se debe poner para mantener la tradici\u00f3n de un torneo de tenis como el de Fiestas Patrias, que en el 2025 cumpli\u00f3 25 a\u00f1os de historia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
